We conducted an experiment to simulate a sewing thread effect, where individual threads are procedurally woven into a fabric and then transition into forming a logo. The animation was developed in Houdini, utilizing curve-based designs to generate the stitching motion. Blend Shapes were applied to drive the thread-to-fabric transformation, while a masking attribute controlled the progressive spread of the effect. Finally, the system was integrated with a Vellum simulation to add realistic fabric dynamics and interaction.
