TV Commercial – Mie sedap Cup (Wings Group)
This product is aimed at young people who love the thrill of spicy flavors. Mie sedap Cup comes with chewy noodles, bal-bal toppings, and a rich, creamy curry broth that excites the taste buds.
In this commercial, the director wanted to highlight the spicy sensation through powerful visuals of exploding noodles and chilies. To bring this vision to life, we created 3D chili models combined with particle explosion effects enhanced by chili slices. We also used pyro simulation in Houdini to produce a dynamic, energetic noodle explosion effect.
To ensure the brand stands out clearly, all packaging elements were replaced with 3D models, making the visuals cleaner, more detailed, and visually appealing on screen.
We received a brief from the director to create a particle explosion effect representing chili seasoning. To achieve this, we simulated the particle explosion in Houdini and combined it with 3D packaging modeled in Blender. The biggest challenge in this project was creating the effect of noodles bursting out of the pack. After several rounds of trial and error, we successfully simulated the curves using the Pyro Solver and converted them into polygons, resulting in a natural and dynamic visual.
